Sergio Aguilar is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Latin America Transaction Advisory Group. With more than 15 years of professional experience in both Latin America and the U.S., Mr. Aguilar specializes in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence and has extensive industry experience in manufacturing, consumer products, pharmaceuticals, business services and chemicals.
Mr. Aguilar has vast international experience advising U.S. clients on cross-border transactions in Europe and Latin America. In addition, he worked for five years in Mexico planning and executing client audits in various industries.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Aguilar was a Senior Manager within Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory Services based in Colombia. While at Ernst & Young he advised on numerous private equity and corporate cross-border transactions for both large US and European clients. In addition, Mr. Aguilar was part of Ernst & Young’s National Divestiture Advisory Services practice while based in Philadelphia prior to working in Latin America.
