Sanath Kumar

With more than 18+ years of experience advising large and mid-sized companies, investors, governments, and strategic ministries, Mr. Sanath has worked with multiple regional and global executives and board members to shape and realize their strategic and operational agendas.
Mr. Sanath’s notable work includes driving margin enhancement for a private equity-backed leading hospital chain, resulting in an EBIT uplift of over 400 bps; developing and executing a greenfield medical tourism hospital strategy targeting 3x growth; and leading the national COVID-19 vaccine strategy and rollout for a major Southeast Asian ministry.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Sanath spent over 10 years setting up, scaling, and leading healthcare and life sciences for Kearney Southeast Asia, where he most recently served as a Partner. In this role, he made notable contributions to healthcare players across the region and published severable perspectives while presenting at leading industry forums.
During his tenure at Kearney, Mr. Sanath also served as an advisor to the government for designing the ASEAN-BAC Future of Healthcare agenda. In addition, he also worked closely with hospitals, healthcare service providers, pharmacies, and pharmaceutical companies to unlock true patient value. Mr. Sanath hosts an independent podcast titled “The H4A Podcast,” focused on healthcare executives, founders, and changemakers.
Mr. Sanath earned a master’s degree in engineering management from Dartmouth College.
