He specializes in leading large IT programs to produce results in complex situations such as divestitures, post-merger integration, and performance improvement, transformation and turn-around of IT operations and service delivery.
With more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Rudkin has worked with organizations in the financial services industry, including banking and insurance companies, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, energy and utilities, manufacturing, and nonprofits. He has delivered results that included successful transfer of IT assets through carve-outs, separations and acquisitions, as well as improved technology and business alignment, IT operational excellence and IT cost reduction and optimization.
Mr. Rudkin’s experience includes serving in an interim leadership role as the VP of IT Infrastructure for one of the nation’s largest nonprofits. He led the program to separate and subsequently integrate clinical and R&D applications used by the pharmaceutical division of a Fortune 50 company following its acquisition by a leading specialty pharmaceutical company, completing the project ahead of initial planned timelines. He has led efforts to rapidly establish IT service infrastructure and business application hosting and migration efforts for large financial services clients, and led transformation of the contract management and support organizations for a large managed care provider of Medicaid and Medicare health plans. He also assisted with an insurance and financial company core product transformation initiative, through IT divestiture and transition service agreement support activities. Most recently, Mr. Rudkin assisted with the review of a $1.4 billion BPO, for SG&A cost reduction opportunities, specific to IT.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Rudkin served as Director with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) in a variety of technical leadership roles that included data management and information governance, disaster recovery, data center operations and IT operational improvement. While at PwC, Mr. Rudkin coordinated large-scale data center design, build-out and reengineering efforts, as well as multi-year oversight for IT cost reduction and performance improvement. Results achieved included more than $400 million in IT spend reduction through implementation of IT benchmarking and adoption of best practices. Prior to PwC, Mr. Rudkin served as an IT VP for Bank of America, where he brokered partnerships with bank lines of business, technology support and external solution providers, to establish the framework for early technology adoption, implementation and exploitation for competitive advantage.
Mr. Rudkin serves on the Board of Directors for several nonprofit and charitable organizations.
