Sam Roberts

Mr. Roberts advises on buy- and sell-side transactions for infrastructure, private equity, pension, sovereign wealth, superannuation funds, and government-backed clients. His infrastructure knowledge covers all key subsectors, including transport, energy and utilities, digital infrastructure, and core plus. He also advises private equity funds in adjacent sectors, such as healthcare, industrials, and tech-led businesses.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Roberts was a Partner at Deloitte in Transaction Services, based in both Sydney and Brisbane. Previously, he was with PwC in London. Earlier in his career, Mr. Roberts spent time as a tax advisor at PwC, where he built an understanding of complex and cross-border investment structures, particularly where they relate to an investor’s ability to extract cash from an investment.
Mr. Roberts earned bachelor’s degrees in commerce (accounting) and arts (history and political science) from the University of Queensland. He is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
