Sally Conkright is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement in New York.

Dr. Conkright brings more than 25 years of operating and consulting experience in entrepreneurial and Fortune 50 corporate environments and multiple areas of business operations, including human resources, general management and corporate governance. 

Throughout her career, Dr. Conkright led post-merger integration efforts for both domestic and international acquisitions, stood up new business operations in domestic and international locations, and has led several corporate restructurings, relocations, spin-offs and carve-out initiatives. She has partnered with senior leadership to lead overall spin-off planning and execution efforts, provided subject matter expertise and functional execution support for human resources, legal and regulatory, developed detailed execution plans including future state organizational design, cost structure, key decisions and milestones, cross functional dependencies, risk/risk mitigation plans, developed Transition Service Agreements across multiple functions, and identified efficiency and savings opportunities.

Dr. Conkright is a leader in workforce transitions and change management, and works with organizations that need a comprehensive, systematic approach to developing and implementing sustainable change management strategies. She specializes in generating tangible and sustainable results through innovative and pragmatic solutions in strategy, service-delivery-model design and implementation, organization design, process transformation, technology deployment, and governance. 

As General Manager, Dr. Conkright increased market share, launched successful new products, grew revenue and profits, led product rationalization initiatives, and established a more balanced and cost-effective approach to customer acquisition and retention. As Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), she served as trusted adviser to CEOs, executive management and boards in developing human capital and change management strategies that impact strategic direction and overall business results.

Dr. Conkright earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University, an MBA from the Loyola University of Chicago, and a PhD from George Washington University. She serves on the boards of nonprofit organizations and is certified in the Prosci Change Management Program.
