Sahil Gupta

With more than 11 years of experience, Mr. Gupta has advised medium-to-large sized companies, private equity funds and law firms across a range of industries, including metals and mining, consumer, real estate, life sciences, financial services, aviation, technology, education, healthcare and hospitality.
Mr. Gupta has led several complex investigations involving allegations of financial misstatement, conflict of interest situations, kickback arrangements, bribery and corruption. He has also advised clients on several dispute matters in commercial arbitrations and litigations across multiple forums; assessed damages and quantified losses, assisted in preparation of legal strategy, defending and rebutting claims and counter claims and preparation of expert reports; led several intelligence engagements across geographies to gather actionable intelligence; and advised clients on critical operational and strategic issues to prevent major disruptions.
Additionally, Mr. Gupta was part of the team that managed one of the largest bankruptcy cases in India, where he administered creditors’ claims and led the avoidance review to identify transactions at a preference or undervalue.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Gupta spent more than four years at Big 4 accounting firms in their risk consulting services practices. He was primarily responsible for engagement planning and execution, which involved performing risk assessment of the business environment that organizations operate in and identifying business and operational risks at the entity, including development of solutions to facilitate mitigation of such risks.
Mr. Gupta earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Xaviers College — Autonomous. He is a qualified Indian Chartered Accountant.
