Ryan Uhrin is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Disputes and Investigations in Pittsburgh. He specializes in the construction and energy industries. His primary areas of concentration are construction claims avoidance and risk mitigation, project execution and process improvement across the entire project lifecycle.

With more than 23 years of construction experience as a contractor, owner and consultant, Mr. Uhrin has served in various roles, including senior construction manager, project owners representative and construction program executive, responsible for delivering $10+ billion in construction.

Mr. Uhrin has worked with clients across various industries, including oil and gas, petrochemical, power, healthcare, aviation, commercial building, hospitality, heavy highway and water treatment. Most recently, he was responsible for a significant damage claim for a waste water treatment facility. His other notable assignments include a $650 million gas processing facility; multimillion-dollar airport expansion and underground train station; and a $12 billion petrochemical plant.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Uhrin spent two years with the North America Contract Solutions Team at Arcadis in Middletown, where he most recently served as a Principal Claims Analyst, leading key engagements with trial support, deposition support and quantum/delay analysis on $125+ million in construction claims.

Mr. Uhrin earned a bachelors degree in civil engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida, Pennsylvania, Texas and West Virginia; a Certified Construction Manager and member of the Construction Management Association of America; and a Planning & Scheduling Professional and member of the Association for Advancement of Cost Engineering International.
