Mr. Tayeh brings more than 15 years of experience advising management teams of energy and industrial players, commodities traders, aviation service providers, real estate players and retailers on corporate and organisational strategy, business unit carve-outs, operational restructuring and cost take-outs, operational and commercial due diligence and synergy analyses.
Recently, for a U.S.-based global industrial conglomerate, Mr. Tayeh led a footprint optimisation analysis that reviewed manufacturing assets performance across Europe, North America and Asia and evaluated consolidation potential across products. For a European multinational IT services company, he advised on the operational carve-out and sale process of perimeters with revenues of more than €4 billion and presence across 35+ countries. For a global cables manufacturer, he defined standalone operating models, developed vendor synergy assessments and supported negotiations to carve-out two businesses with a combined footprint across 15 countries and ~3000 employees.
On the buy-side, Mr. Tayeh advised a U.S.-based fund on the assessment and design of a Day-1 organisation for a potential acquisition of paper mills in Europe. Previously, he advised an infrastructure fund looking to invest in a lubricants distribution business across Europe and a convenience store operator on potential synergies from acquiring European fuel stations. For a leading NOC, Mr. Tayeh advised on the investment in a fertiliser producer, analysing market prospects, potential alternative targets and developing a preliminary asset valuation. For a $20+ billion chemicals start-up, he helped design the supply chain and maintenance departments and defined strategy and services.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Tayeh was a Director with Accenture Strategy in the Trading, Investments and Commercial Optimisation global strategy practice, advising energy and commodities clients across multiple continents.
Mr. Tayeh earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a master's degree in industrial and financial engineering from the American University of Beirut, a master's degree in management from London Business School. A British and Lebanese national, he is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
