Rodrigo Hong is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Corporate Transformation Services in São Paulo. He brings almost ten years of consulting experience and nine years as an executive in supply chain management.

Mr. Hong heads the legal optimization practice, which focuses on maximizing results and efficiency and reducing costs in legal departments. He has worked with clients in various industries, including financial services, retail, tourism and consumer goods.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Hong spent six years as Project Manager with Galeazzi & Associados in São Paulo, where he worked on performance improvement projects for financial service clients, developed work in legal areas and back-office operations, and helped reduce costs.

Previously, Mr. Hong was a Customer Service Manager with Unilever Brazil and prior to that, he was a Logistics Manager with Gerdau, a Brazilian steel company.

Mr. Hong earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Fundação Getulio Vargas in São Paulo and a bachelor’s degree in law from Pontificia Universidade Católica in São Paulo. A lawyer registered in OAB-SP, Mr. Hong is fluent in Portuguese and English and has an advanced knowledge of Spanish.
