Mr. Leto has extensive professional services consulting and hands-on industry experience. His work has included the direct management of diverse IT organizations, international IT management, IT business risk and portfolio management, enterprise strategic planning and risk management, organizational change management, supply chain operations, customer relationship management (CRM), enterprise resource planning, business process re-engineering and large scale program management.
Mr. Leto specializes in IT cost, value and performance. His engagements have identified 20 to 30 per cent net savings through driver-based analytics on both the demand and supply sides of IT operating expenses. Notable clients include: a $1.7 billion hospital group, a $5.8 billion healthcare clinic, a $285 million state government IT agency, a $3.2 billion health insurer, a $4 billion municipal utility, a $3.2 billion life science and medical device maker; a $5.5 billion engineering, construction and related technical professional services firm; a $1.1 billion division of a leading payroll and tax processing service and a $2.5 billion hotel resort and casino property management group.
Other engagements include: leading the recovery of a distressed $50 million SAP supply chain implementation for a major media company, driving the strategic planning initiatives for a $1.1 billion supply chain operation, program manager for re-engineering a $37 million IT organization, delivering a comprehensive security risk management program for a major California public utility, partnering over a complex, multi-vendor CRM / computer telephony integration contact center for a $10 billion Asian auto company, program manager for a $1.9 billion manufacturing facility start-up, and operations director within a data center consolidation program that reduced 32 sites into one global shared service center supporting a $6.5 billion global high-tech company.
Before A&M, Mr. Leto served as a senior manager with Ernst & Young, building their global capabilities in IT cost optimization, a director of IT business risk management with PwC, a client partner with Zamba Solutions, a systems integration and consulting firm, and as Director, supply chain operations with Unisys, where he led the execution of group-wide strategic plans, linking business objectives with IT initiatives.
Mr. Leto has spoken on topical IT issues throughout his career, including multiple ISACA conferences, the USC Marshall School of Business, the UCLA Anderson School of Business, St Thomas University’s MBA school, the EUCI IT Governance for Utilities Conference, Clemson University Integrated Supply Chain Management Conference and keynoting the Unisys National CUBE / USE Convention. In addition, he has been featured in leading IT publications – notably in CIO magazine, where he appeared in a June 1993 cover story as the O&A National Human Side of Technology Award winner for IT turnaround work at Unisys.
