With more than 18 years of professional services experience in the oil and gas industry, Mr. Nasser has supported supermajors, large independent exploration & production (E&P) companies, oilfield service companies, refiners, and private equity companies in North America as well as national oil companies in the Middle East and Latin America.

Mr. Nasser’s primary focus is driving operational cost reduction and transformation for the upstream oil and gas industry by reducing lease operating expenses, right sizing general and administrative expenses and optimizing capital efficiency. He also has experience in supporting growth through asset acquisition stand up, merger integration and strategy development.

Mr. Nasser has worked in all major US basins to generate value. He has helped distressed companies undergoing bankruptcy emerge with a leaner cost structure and helped healthy companies optimize industry consolidation on both the buy- and sell-sides.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Nasser led performance improvement teams for Chevron Upstream. Previously, he worked in Houston and Dubai developing corporate strategies and designing and implementing operational improvements in the energy space for Arthur D. Little and Oliver Wyman. Earlier in his career, he was an Associate at Jefferies, supporting origination and execution of upstream oil and gas transactions in emerging markets. 

Mr. Nasser earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Tulane University and an MBA (finance concentration) from the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University.
