Rafael Rodrigues

Mr. Rodrigues’ main areas of concentration are technical and managerial aspects related to the engineering and construction industry. He has been involved in leadership roles related to cost management, project scheduling, risk management and contract management in large capital projects. Mr. Rodrigues has worked across a range of industries, including energy, power transmission, water and sewage, mining and logistics.
Additionally, Mr. Rodrigues has developed deep technical and managerial expertise related to the application of best management practices in complex projects, acquiring relevant knowledge on how to overcome critical challenges related to pre-planning and construction phases of large capital programs.
Furthermore, Mr. Rodrigues has advised large-cap companies at early stages of the investment cycle, consulting them throughout the development of strategic and financial studies required to support on the capital decision. He has also advised companies and led strategic planning efforts, market studies, capital investment portfolio optimization, feasibility studies and technical and financial advisory services on infrastructure auctions and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Rodrigues earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Universidade Federal Fluminense and a master’s degree in construction management from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. He also earned a professional degree in advanced project management from Stanford University.
