With more than 23 years of transaction and accounting advisory professional experience, Mr. Aguirre is an experienced transaction advisor in domestic and cross-border engagements. He advises clients on leveraged buyouts, carve-outs and distressed transactions, and helps negotiate and design purchase and sale agreements and purchase price adjustment mechanisms. Mr. Aguirre has worked with clients across various industries in Latin America, the U.S. and Europe, including financial services, fintech, energy and natural resources, infrastructure, technology, consumer products, retail, telecommunications, diversified industrials, manufacturing and life sciences. 

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Aguirre was a Partner in Ernst & Young’s transaction advisory services group in Mexico, where he helped establish and structure EY’s Transaction Advisory Services practice in Mexico and Latin America. He was also the Transactions Leader for the Power & Utilities sector in Latin America North and did a secondment in McLean, VA. Mr. Aguirre started his career with KPMG audit practice. 

Mr. Aguirre earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Universidad de Sonora and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. He is fluent in English and Spanish
