Probal Hasan is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Healthcare Industry Group in Houston. He brings more than 20 years of experience serving commercial and government-funded health plans and providers. His areas of focus include technology strategy, enterprise architecture, enterprise strategic planning and digital transformation.

Mr. Hasan is a results-driven technology consultant and architect who advises senior executives at the intersection of business and technology. He has worked with healthcare payers and healthcare provider systems to harness strategy, operations and technology to advance business goals. His extensive background working with both health plans and providers has enabled him to develop customer experience visions and strategies, as well as roadmaps for mobilizing and delivering on those strategies.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Hasan served as the leader of both West Monroe’s Healthcare Technology team and Dallas technology consulting practice. There, he advised large national and regional health plans with respect to cloud strategy and readiness, development of modern data and analytics platforms and technology cost optimization efforts.  

Previously, Mr. Hasan spent 15 years as a Senior Director in PwC’s Healthcare Practice, helping payers and providers bridge business and technology efforts. He started his consulting career at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), working in the telecom and high-tech sectors.

Mr. Hasan earned a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
