Prasam Patel

Mr. Patel advises large real estate and infrastructure investors/developers, helping complete deals, improve tax efficiency and manage risk. He helps clients understand and make decisions on risk areas and commercial negotiations, as well as structuring their holdings.
Mr. Patel’s notable assignments include helping listed and unlisted funds and developers as well as special purpose vehicles, banks and private businesses on acquisitions and bids. He has worked with clients across various real estate sectors, including commercial and residential development and investing in residential, logistics, commercial and healthcare assets; and infrastructure and renewables sectors, including student accommodation, roads, hospitals, OFTOs, energy-from-waste, anaerobic digestion, battery storage, and wind and solar.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Patel spent just under 10 years with Mazars LLP, leading their real estate offering in the UK, and serving most recently as Partner and Head of Real Estate. He helped grow the nascent business across multiple areas (both tax and non-tax), working with multinational clients, funds (including sovereign wealth funds), and U. K. developers. His notable projects included structuring a combined hotel and residential site with a GDV of £1+ billion, advising inbound investors on the acquisition and structure of assets acquisitions of over £100 million, and supporting clients on bids for infrastructure and renewables projects.
Mr. Patel earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and statistics from University College London. He is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Advisor and a member of the British Property Federation’s Tax Committee.
