Peter Roland is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Services in New York. He brings more than 18 years of experience as both an operator and advisor.

Mr. Roland has executed transactions ranging from $100 million to $18 billion. He has substantial cross-border deal experience, having advised on deals in the Americas, EMEA, and Asia–Pacific regions. His engagements center around the planning and execution of merger integrations, carve-outs, performance improvement programs, and complex business transformations.

Mr. Roland has extensive experience working with clients in the sports, media, and entertainment industries. His notable engagements include advising TKO Group on the merger of Ultimate Fighting Championship and World Wrestling Entertainment; Endeavor Group on the carve-out and sale of 17 businesses across the sports, media, and entertainment landscape; and Scientific Games on the carve-out and sale of OpenBet, a leading content, platform, and service provider to the global sports betting industry.

Mr. Roland has also led the planning and execution of numerous merger integration and carve-out engagements across other industries. He provides private equity firms and their portfolio companies with the guidance, governance frameworks, and tools to efficiently execute transactions and broader business transformations.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Roland served as Group Assistant Vice President with ABB Group, where he led the structuring and execution of acquisition and divestiture initiatives that enabled business unit leaders across four divisions to reshape their portfolios, accelerate growth, and galvanize global markets. Previously, he worked with United Technologies Corporation’s Corporate Strategy & Development practice, supporting strategic growth studies, building acquisition pipelines, and providing M&A transaction support for six divisions, including valuations for public and private targets worth up to $20 billion.

Mr. Roland earned an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
