Currently at A&M, Mr. Platsch is acting interim Chief Transformation Officer of a market leading business exhibition management company, developing a target operating model for a German bolt-on acquisition. Prior to this, he was appointed CEO of a vacation rental business, managing the wind down of the German operation.
Previously, Mr. Platsch served in roles as interim COO of a European financial services provider, where he implemented a holistic operational improvement program, which included footprint consolidation, serving as interim CFO/CRO for an international injection moulding company in Austria and Hungary; as interim Country Manager Germany for a global adhesive film manufacturer in Germany; as Chief Integration Officer for a European insulation material manufacturer; as interim Head of Operations for a tier-1 automotive supplier; as CRO and PMO lead for a tier-2 automotive LED and actuator supplier; and as CRO for a Hungarian chemical company specializing in the production and processing of plastic raw materials and isocyanides.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Platsch spent more than 10 years in the aerospace and renewable energy sector. He served as Vice President of Procurement and Service Contracts and Deputy General Counsel for seven years at Fairchild Dornier GmbH, globally responsible for coordinating the supplier base for aircraft components and general procurement, including the negotiation of all procurement and service contracts. As Deputy General Counsel, he managed in-house counsel for all corporate law aspects in regards to the acquisition of the company by two private equity funds.
Mr. Platsch earned a master of law degree in M&A and a university degree as an attorney-at-law from the University of Munich in Germany. He is also a member of the German bar. A German national, he is fluent in German and English.
