Peter Morris is an Executive Director with Alvarez & Marsal Disputes and Investigations in Melbourne. He specializes in complex internal and regulatory investigations. His primary areas of concentration are investigations into matters involving fraud, corruption and misconduct.

With more than 30 years of forensic investigation and risk management experience across the Asia-Pacific region, Mr. Morris has led complex investigations and risk and compliance matters regarding bribery, corruption, fraud and serious misconduct. He also brings significant experience with proactive whistleblower advisory services.

Mr. Morris has worked with clients across various industries, including government, law enforcement, professional services and various private sector organisations.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Morris worked at the Independent Broad-based Anti-Corruption Commission (IBAC) as an Executive Director. There, he was responsible for the Operations division, which included the Investigations, Surveillance, High-tech Crime and Intelligence teams.

Previously, Mr. Morris served as a Partner at Deloitte, where he was responsible for investigations into fraud, corruption and misconduct and fraud risk management services, including whistleblower reporting systems.

Mr. Morris earned a bachelor’s degree in business (concentration in accounting) from RMIT University. While attending RMIT, he served as a member of the Australian Federal Police. He holds Certificate IV in both Government Investigations and Fraud Control and is a member of the Australian Institute of Professional Investigators, where he was formerly National President and Victorian Chapter President.
