Peter Koltis is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement in Miami. He focuses on IT strategy, cost reduction and takeout and performance improvement. He brings deep experience for the rationalization of cloud computing platforms and implementation of customer-facing solutions.

Mr. Koltis brings 30 years of experience defining and implementing systems strategies for a variety of industries including consumer products, insurance, distribution, manufacturing and healthcare. He also brings six years of operational experience in the high-tech industry in which he co-founded and built a company around SaaS-based customer relationship management (CRM) and accounting solutions.

Recently, Mr. Koltis led a team that worked with a regional healthcare provider to design and build a consumer engagement platform based on the latest digital technologies. He supported the development of the business case and three-year roadmap, identification and selection of platform tools, and stand up of a new digital PMO capability to support the initiative.

Mr. Koltis brings deep expertise in CRM systems, including leadership for the global rollout of a 375-seat CRM implementation across 35 countries in Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA) and Asia in the financial services industry. The project spanned an 18-month period and resulted in the first enterprise-wide system the company had ever successfully deployed to manage relationships with over 750,000 merchants.

He also led the CRM implementation effort at the U.S. Department of Commerce and led a team that implemented a multi-phased CRM and supply chain management solution for a $750 million division of a multi-billion-dollar information services company. The project provided significant ROI through headcount reduction and revenue enhancement and included a team of eight in the U.S. and 15 in a development center in India. Mr. Koltis also managed a team of over 90 consultants for a large-scale CRM implementation at one of the largest wireless carriers in the U.S.

Mr. Koltis earned a bachelor's degree in management information systems from Florida International University (FIU). He serves on FIU’s President’s Council as well as its MBA Advisory Board.
