Mr. Cheston specializes in merger integration and program management. He brings deep expertise in analyzing business operations and in developing and implementing operational improvements.

Mr. Cheston recently led the IMO and Day 1 / 100 Day Plans for the merger integration of two mid-market PE owned firms, involving multiple international locations. He also recently assisted in a cost and synergy assessment, resulting in the development of a post-acquisition organization and cost structure, based on a detailed assessment of both labor and non-labor costs.

In addition, he has assisted in implementing the integration of two $1 billion companies, developing the Day 1 / 100 Day Plans and PMO structure, as well as leading several functional teams through the integration process.

Mr. Cheston has led performance improvement engagements spanning a wide variety of industry sectors, including manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, restaurants and business services. His management roles have included serving as Chief Operating Officer for Ithaca Industries and Chief Operating Officer for AM Cosmetics. At AM Cosmetics, he was responsible for overseeing the post-deal merger of two portfolio companies. In these roles, he led a detailed review of operations and the development of an EBITDA and working capital improvement plan.

Previously, Mr. Cheston founded and led A&M's Creditor Advisory Practice. His focus included evaluating business plans, as well as management's ability to execute the plans. Engagements include Oneida, Fleming Foods, World Kitchen, Parmalat and London Fog.

Mr. Cheston served as Co-Treasurer of Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc. His responsibilities included managing and investing, on a global basis, more than $25 billion in cash prior to distributions made pursuant to a plan of reorganization. Prior to Lehman, Mr. Cheston was responsible for developing and overseeing the firm's operations in Asia, with headquarters in Hong Kong, and in Latin America, with headquarters in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Mr. Cheston has also served on numerous boards.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Cheston was an officer in the Special Loan Department of Chase Manhattan Bank, where his principal responsibilities included negotiation of debt restructurings.

Mr. Cheston earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Massachusetts.
