Paul Rundell

Mr. Rundell brings more than 20 years of experience specializing in restructuring. He has helped many companies navigate through financial or operational challenges, including business strategy and planning, financial analysis and support, cash management, crisis management, turnaround consulting, market analysis and operational improvement. He has also advised clients both in and out of court.
Mr. Rundell’s recent notable assignments include interim CEO for a $1 billion physician practice management company; Advisor to $1.5 billion multi-site company dealing with capital structure and underperforming operations; Advisor to a $1 billion company that provides healthcare services to prisons and counties throughout the country; interim CEO for a $1 billion multi-site Midwest company with almost 84 locations; CRO to a Texas based company; CRO to four separate companies, each with $100 – 150 million of debt; EVP of Restructuring for a large company dealing with complicated debt structure and multi-location with operational improvement opportunities; Senior Advisor to a company with almost $2 billion of debt; SVP of Restructuring for a $1.5 billion hospital system; recapitalizing of a skilled nursing portfolio; and recapitalizing of a two hospital system and removing both its salary and non-salary costs.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Rundell worked at several restructuring and interim management firms, where he assisted clients with revenues ranging from $50 million to more than $15 billion.
Mr. Rundell earned a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Illinois. He is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) and a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP). He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors (AIRA).
