Paul Musselman

Mr. Musselman provides leadership for profitable non-organic growth on the buy-side, EBITDA/ cash flow initiatives, and sell-side carve-out transactions for private equity and corporate clients. He is recognized as one of the industry’s leading carve-out advisors with experience in over $140 billion of mid-market and large-cap transactions globally. His transaction experience spans multiple technology sub-sectors including semiconductor, IT services, and software within the fintech, healthcare, edtech, and telco verticals as well as aerospace and defense, and media.
In addition to advising on some of the largest transactions in the telecommunications, media and technology (TMT) industry, Mr. Musselman led several multi-billion-dollar outsourcing engagements for back-office processes, IT operations, software development and customer handling.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Musselman spent three years with KPMG in Silicon Valley, where he most recently served as a Managing Director, leading the firm’s Integration and Separation practice for TMT. His 18-year industry experience includes serving in several senior executive roles at Intel Corporation, IBM, Amdocs and Misys plc. Mr. Musselman is also a twelve-year decorated veteran of the U.S. Army Special Forces and served in Operations Desert Storm and Uphold Democracy.
Mr. Musselman earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of California, Berkeley and a master’s degree in business and government policy from Harvard University. He is involved with The Honor Foundation, which assists Navy SEALs and U.S. Special Operators in transitioning to professional careers.
