Mr. Musselman provides leadership for profitable non-organic growth on the buy-side, EBITDA / cash flow initiatives and sell-side carve-out transactions for private equity and corporate clients.
He is recognized as one of the industry’s leading carve-out advisors with experience in over $100 billion of mid-market and large-cap transactions, in both domestic and global contexts. Transactions span multiple sub-sectors including semiconductor, IT services and software (SaaS, Enterprise & on-premise) within the fintech, healthcare, edtech and telco (payments, OSS, BSS, OTT & MNO) verticals.
In addition, Mr. Musselman led several multi-billion-dollar outsourcing engagements for back-office processes, IT operations, software development and customer handling.
Over his career, Mr. Musselman held several senior executive roles at Intel Corporation, IBM, Amdocs and Misys plc. He has advised on some of the largest transactions in the technology, media and telecom (TMT) industry. His past clients include JDS Uniphase, eBay, PayPal, Citrix and Avaya, among others.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Musselman spent three years with KPMG in Silicon Valley where he most recently served as a Managing Director, leading the firm’s Integration and Separation practice for TMT.
Mr. Musselman earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of California, Berkeley and a master’s degree in business and government policy from Harvard University. Mr. Musselman is also a twelve-year decorated veteran of the U.S. Army Special Forces, having served in operations Desert Storm and Uphold Democracy. He is active with The Honor Foundation whose mission is to help Navy SEALs and U.S. Special Operators transition to their professional career.
