He specializes in corporate mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and equity investments. His primary focus is delivering value through profitable "non-organic" growth on the buy-side, EBITDA/Cash Flow initiatives operationally and leading sell-side carve-out transactions for private equity and corporate clients.
Mr. Musselman brings more than 20 years of technology industry experience, and is recognized as one of the industry's leading carve-out advisors having completed $10B and advised on over $100B of mid-market and large cap cross border and domestic transactions in semiconductor, IT services and software (SaaS, Enterprise & on-premise) within fintech, healthcare, edtech and telco (payments, OSS, BSS, OTT & MNO) verticals. Equally, Mr. Musselman has led several ,multi-billion dollar outsourcing engagements for back-office processes, IT operations, software development and customer handling.
Mr. Musselman has held several senior executive roles at Intel Corporation, IBM, Amdocs and Misys plc and has advised on some the largest TMT transactions with clients such as JDS Uniphase, eBay, PayPal, Citrix and Avaya, among others. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Musselman spent three years with KPMG in Silicon Valley where he most recently served as a Managing Director, leading the firm’s Integration and Separation practice for TMT.
Mr. Musselman earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of California, Berkeley and a master’s degree in business and government policy from Harvard University. Mr. Musselman is also a twelve-year decorated veteran of the U.S. Army Special Forces, having served in Operations “Desert Storm” and “Uphold Democracy” and is active with The Honor Foundation whose mission is to help Navy SEALs and U.S. Special Operators transition to their professional career.
