Patrick Daoust

With more than 20 years of experience in both strategy consulting and industry, Mr. Daoust has led multiple competitiveness strategies, enterprise transformations, and operating model redesign projects with a fit-for-growth approach. Focusing on zero-based organization, spend, and operating models, he has helped clients generate billion-dollar savings that were reinvested in the diversification of product and services portfolios, R&D, and new acquisitions. For a $10 billion global medical device manufacturer, he delivered a $1.2 billion reduction in selling, general, and administrative expenses (SG&A). For a $16 billion global life sciences company, his work generated $1.5 billion in SG&A reduction, and for a $1.7 billion global fashion retailer, his approach created 10% in SG&A impact. He has also worked with clients including a $28 billion global staffing company, a $22 billion airline company, an $11 billion global brewery, and a $5 billion travel retail company.
Mr. Daoust has also led value creation and merger integration on behalf of capital firms for various deal sizes, including value creation for a $15 billion global quick service restaurant and a $2 billion global pet food manufacturer as well as a merger integration for a $1 billion North American retailer.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Daoust was a Partner at multiple firms, including Roland Berger, Oliver Wyman, Accenture, and Deloitte.
Mr. Daoust earned a professional engineer’s degree from Polytechnique Montréal in Canada.
