Ola Bennerholm

With more than 20 years of consulting and investment banking experience, Mr. Bennerholm has advised private equity, venture capital, sovereign wealth funds, infrastructure funds, corporate buyers, and financial institutions across Europe and the Asia–Pacific region. He has been involved in over 50 transactions, providing expertise in commercial and operational due diligence, fund strategy, and operational improvements.
Mr. Bennerholm’s notable post-merger integration assignments include leading PMOs for large integrations such as Nordea, DNB in the Baltic region, UBS and Credit Suisse Wealth Management in the Asia–Pacific region, and Fortum and TGK10 in Finland. He has worked with clients across various industries, including financial services, consumer and retail, healthcare, industrial goods, transportation and logistics, and technology, media, and telecommunications.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Bennerholm spent several years with Boston Consulting Group in Hong Kong, where he most notably served as Head of the M&A/Transactions and Integration practice in Greater China and Head of the Private Equity practice in Hong Kong. His responsibilities included commercial due diligence, advising on fund strategies, developing investment structures, and managing portfolio reviews for private equity and sovereign wealth funds. Earlier in his career, he worked with McKinsey & Company and Morgan Stanley, where he gained extensive experience in consulting and investment banking.
Mr. Bennerholm earned a master’s degree in finance from the Stockholm School of Economics and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, as well as an MBA from INSEAD. He is an appointed Lieutenant in the Swedish reserves and has served as a diplomat for the Swedish Foreign Ministry, with postings in Kyiv, Kaliningrad, and Warsaw.
