Nobuo Mori
With more than 35 years of consulting experience, Mr. Mori has established a strong reputation as an economist in transfer pricing and other economic disputes.
Mr. Mori’s notable assignments include large bilateral APAs for Japanese and Western clients, tax court cases for major disputes where he serves as an expert, and various transfer pricing policy and documentation works. He has worked with clients across various industries, including automotives, consumer brands, electronics, entertainment, machinery, medical devices, and professional services.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Mori spent nine years with EY as a Partner/Senior Advisor. Before that, he spent 10 years starting and developing NERA Economic Consulting’s Tokyo office, prior to which he spent 10 years working in the economic group of A.T. Kearney (now Kearney), a management consulting firm.
Mr. Mori earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Tokyo and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Mori has written many articles and co-authored books on transfer pricing and valuation and has spoken at numerous conferences and roundtables.
