Nishant Sinha is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Corporate Performance Improvement’s Travel, Hospitality & Leisure practice in Chicago. He specializes in digital transformations to help clients achieve revenue growth, cost savings and operational efficiencies. His primary areas of concentration are business strategy and product development and business-IT alignment.
With more than 22 years of travel industry and business consulting experience, Mr. Sinha has delivered complex engagements, improving customer and employee experiences throughout the customer journey. He has consulted Fortune 500 clients in areas of IoT, data strategy, robotic process automation, inventory distribution, revenue management, cloud technologies and product implementation in the airlines, hotels, travel distribution and car rental industries.
Mr. Sinha’s notable assignments include transforming an end-to-end travel management solution for the largest credit card and business travel company in the world; transforming an hourly car rental and connected car program for the largest car rental company in the world; and helping one of the largest quick serve restaurant chains in menu management and supply chain transformation. Most recently, Mr. Sinha was responsible for developing fleet data strategy for the largest car rental company in the world.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Sinha spent 14 years with Cognizant Consulting in the U.S., where he most recently served as Director of Consulting. He led the travel and hospitality consulting team and played the consulting partner role for key clients in the U.S. Previously, he worked in the hospitality, food services and airline industries in India, where he managed hotel, banquet and restaurant operations as well as flight catering.
Mr. Sinha earned a bachelor’s degree in tourism from IGNOU, New Delhi, an MBA in marketing from SP Jain School of Global Management from Singapore and Dubai and a diploma in hotel management from Institute of Hotel Management.
