Nicole Le Dressay is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Tax in Toronto. She brings more than 10 years of consulting experience advising clients on a range of transaction related taxation issues.

Ms. Le Dressay's primary areas of concentration are buy- and sell-side tax structuring, cash tax modeling and tax due diligence. She brings a unique perspective to her work, leveraging her knowledge of fund structures to assist her clients in maximizing after-tax returns for their investors and management teams.

Additionally, Ms. Le Dressay is an expert in private equity, where she brings extensive experience advising private equity funds on tax matters related to the entire life cycle of their investments. She has led various projects, including domestic and cross border mergers and acquisitions, dividend recapitalization transactions, complex divestitures and IPOs.  

Ms. Le Dressay’s notable projects include advising on the strategic merger of two of Canada’s largest dental service organizations; divestiture of one of Canada’s primary grocery retailers; divestiture of an interest in a Canadian private equity fund manager; the IPO of a multinational software company; and the IPO of a mining royalty company. 

Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Le Dressay spent over 11 years with KPMG, where she most recently served as a Partner in the firm’s M&A Tax Services practice.

Ms. Le Dressay earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce (concentration in accounting) from the University of Toronto. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant/Chartered Accountant designated in Ontario, Canada.
