Niall Flood

Mr. Flood specializes in advising entrepreneurs, investors, and management teams of privately owned and publicly listed companies on funding requirements, buy-side engagements and sell-side advisory. This includes advice on funding (raising both equity and debt), acquisition advice (e.g., target identification, pursuit, and funding), and advising shareholders—when the time is right—on the outright sale/exit of businesses. Furthermore, Mr. Flood helps clients secure private equity investment to drive corporate growth agendas and assists shareholders in realizing cash-outs to de-risk and diversify their personal wealth.
With 15 years of M&A, leveraged finance, and industry experience, Mr. Flood has co-led mid-market M&A advisory businesses to market-leading positions. He has advised clients across multiple sectors including aviation, automotive, business services, consumer services, education, energy, financial services, healthcare, industrials, pharma, real estate, and retail. He also led a firm-wide deal advisory offering for the technology, media, and telecoms sector, providing advice to private, public, and semi-state clients across themes such as enterprise software, IT services, media and broadcasting, digital media, fintech, telecoms, and telco services.
Previously, Mr. Flood was Finance Director for a publicly listed healthcare, distribution, and retail business. He has also led a number of forensic/fraud investigations and restructuring assignments.
Mr. Flood earned a bachelor’s degree in business and finance (first class honors) from Dublin City University, finishing in the top 10 in his class. Mr. Flood is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and earned diplomas in forensic accounting and fraud investigation from this body. He also earned diplomas in leadership and in strategy from London Business School and INSEAD, respectively.
