Neil Glynn

Neil Glynn is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Transformation Services in London. Mr. Glynn brings almost 20 years of advisory experience in banking and aviation finance. His end-to-end focus on risks and opportunities across the global aviation value chain ensures a 360-degree perspective. He is a regular speaker at leading airline industry conferences, most recently at global industry body the International Air Transport Association’s World Financial Symposium in Bangkok. Mr. Glynn leads regular workshops with corporates on financial performance, competitive positioning, and shareholder value creation, with a focus on what management teams may be missing.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Glynn launched the independent, globally focused advisory firm AIR Control Tower, focused on in-depth research and analysis to advise investors and corporates on the global airline industry at a macro and micro level. He was also a Senior Advisor to McKinsey’s Transport, Logistics & Infrastructure, Investor Relations, and CFO Immersion practices, advising clients in Europe and North America.
Previously, Mr. Glynn held the roles of Head of Credit Risk EMEA at U.S. aircraft lessor CIT Aerospace and Head of European Transport and Global Transport Equity Research at Credit Suisse. During his 13-year career at Credit Suisse, as an Equity Research Analyst, Mr. Glynn directly covered the entire European-listed aviation supply chain, including airlines, airports, air navigation service providers, air/ocean cargo carriers, air travel distributors, original equipment manufacturers, and maintenance providers. During this time, he was consistently ranked as one of the leading transport sector analysts in Europe and achieved a top three position in the Institutional Investor Survey in his most recent participation in 2021. Mr. Glynn led 10 IPO processes at Credit Suisse, encompassing a wide range of business models across the transport and infrastructure sector. He also advised easyJet’s Management team alongside the Credit Suisse Corporate Broking team on financial strategy and investor relations.
Mr. Glynn earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Dublin City University. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland (FCA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.
