Nancy Tseng is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Transactions Group in Los Angeles. She advises Fortune 500 and private equity deal teams and their boards through all phases of the M&A lifecycle, including diligence, purchase agreements, merger and divestiture readiness, value creation, and business transformation.   

Ms. Tseng brings over 20 years of experience in M&A deals and business transformations. With an interdisciplinary approach to value creation, she has helped companies identify and realize $1+ billion in synergies. For financial investors, she focuses on roll-up strategies and tech enablement for growth. For strategic buyers, she focuses on synergy acceleration, growth and innovation, operating model and organization design, and efficiencies through process redesign and automation. Ms. Tseng also held significant roles in the largest commercial IT strategic sourcing agreement in history, which resulted in $200+ million in cost savings and the establishment of the United States’ first federal cybersecurity division and risk framework.  

Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Tseng built and led the PE/M&A practice at West Monroe Partners in Los Angeles, which served top PE funds. Previously, as a leader with Deloitte M&A, Ms. Tseng led complex Fortune 500 deals and innovated the firm’s merger integration approach and digital tools. She earned the Global Deloitte Award, the firm’s highest honor, for her contributions to global M&A capability building, and the Association of Consulting Firms’ Growth Award for impact on client success. Ms. Tseng started her career at Booz Allen Hamilton, where she received the Professional Excellence Award, the firm’s highest award for client impact. 

Ms. Tseng believes the future of business and technology relies on integrating disciplines and diverse perspectives. As leader and executive sponsor across DEI and culture initiatives at prior firms, she improved collaboration, employee engagement, and client solution development, helping to cultivate a company culture that was ranked number one by the LA Business Journal for Best Places to Work for three consecutive years. 

Ms. Tseng earned bachelor’s degrees in industrial engineering and economics from Stanford University. She is the recipient of the Bruin Scholarship for her master’s degree studies at UCLA School of Law. Ms. Tseng is a Certified National Association Corporate Director Fellow and a Senior Certified Professional with the Society for HR Management.
