Michael Malloy
Mr. Malloy conducts thorough internal and regulatory forensic investigations related to white-collar crime for both publicly traded and privately held companies. He also advises on corporate governance, evaluates internal compliance, and provides operational risk assessments. Mr. Malloy leads investigations involving key regulatory bodies, including the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the US Department of Justice (DOJ), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and the Department of Financial Services (DFS). Additionally, he offers accounting advisory services and IPO readiness consulting, drawing on his significant experience of supporting private equity firms.
Mr. Malloy’s client portfolio spans multiple industries, including energy; financial services; private equity; manufacturing, including auto manufacturing and lending; leasing; oil and gas; pharmaceuticals; shipping and transportation; telecommunications; healthcare services; Japanese trading; government; higher education; and nonprofit organizations.
Before joining A&M, Mr. Malloy served as Senior Managing Director at a premier consulting firm, where he led its New York SEC and Accounting Advisory practice. Prior to that, he was a Partner at a Big Four accounting firm in its Assurance practice in New York, where he developed expertise in the application of GAAP, IFRS, and Governmental Accounting Standards as well as the relevant reporting requirements.
Mr. Malloy earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Villanova University, Pennsylvania. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in New York and New Jersey and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
