Michael Buckley

With more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Buckley specializes in digital and technology transformation, serving as both an advisor and a private equity operating partner. He has worked across a range of industries including healthcare, retail, software and technology, government, communications and media.
Mr. Buckley has advised corporate clients and PE funds on a range of topics, driving digital transformations and leveraging innovation and technology to help clients create the best customer experience. Notably, he built the core team that lead the co-design and build of the AU Federal Government healthcare transformation for its patient improvement program.
Additionally, Mr. Buckley has served as Chief Information Officer for W23 (Woolworths; Australia’s largest supermarket business), driving business and technical strategy across the national business footprint; led the digital commerce transformation for a $200+ billion consumer technology business rolled out to 25 countries across the globe; and led the outsourcing strategy for a global search engine’s managed services in APAC, as well as multiple M&A acquisition diligences for technology businesses, including CDD, TDD, carve-out/separation planning and implementation.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Buckley served as an operating partner for three global PE firms, advising boards and C-suite executives on sales, digital transformation and deploying technology to grow their businesses. His prior experience includes serving as senior and founding Partner for Accenture Digital’s ANZ practice, growing the business from 10 to 600+ employees, driving digital strategy, data, technology, creative and marketing teams. Earlier, Mr. Buckley was founder and Chief Executive Officer of Razorfish, a digital marketing and technology agency, which was later acquired by Microsoft.
Mr. Buckley currently serves as a non-executive director on the Board of Marketplacer, a SaaS firm providing a scalable platform for leading online global marketplaces.
