Meghan Cardell

With more than 12 years of litigation, investigation and consulting experience, Ms. Cardell has advised clients on financial analysis, application of GAAP and IFRS, business valuation and calculation of economic damages. She has also assisted clients with fraud investigations, funds tracing and internal control assessments.
Ms. Cardell also brings specific expertise in pre- and post- merger and acquisition related matters and regularly assists clients with transactional liability claims.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Cardell spent three years with a private forensic accounting firm in Virginia, working on a wide variety of accounting-related disputes, damages calculations and investigations.
Ms. Cardell earned bachelor’s degrees in accounting and leadership studies from the University of Richmond. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner. Ms. Cardell is a frequent speaker and has published articles on transactional liability and accounting and damages in the M&A context.
