He has accquired a vast knowledge in negotiation, management models and business restructuring including: Go-To-Market Strategy, trade marketing, segmentation, commercial policies, management tools and forming teams
Currently, Mr. Pela is leading a corporate transformation project of the entire South American practice for a world leader in the industrial and medicinal gases. In this role he is handling over 300 initiatives and delivering over 10bps in EBITDA improvement. Most recently, Mr. Pela acted as interim Sales Director for the market leader of modular construction in Brazil
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Pela served as a manager of large commercial teams and in different restructuring processes . At Votorantim Cimentos, Mr. Pela led the project of restructuring the distribution model for the retail channel.
At AB Inbev, he held several important positions in sales and trade marketing. As Off Trade – Trade Marketing National Manager, Mr. Pela improved and expanded the Category Management platform and the Relationship Program for small retailers. As a Sales Leader, Mr. Pela managed major accounts such as Carrefour and Sonae.
Mr. Pela earned a bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering from Mauá (Brazil) and an MBA by IESE (Brazil), with specialization in Corporate Finance by IBMEC and in Management and Leadership by Franklin Covey, also being certified in 6 – Sigma Black Belt.
Mr. Pela is fluent in Portuguese (native), English and Spanish.
