Matthew Merhan

With more than 22 years of consulting experience, Mr. Merhan helps organizations improve their financial and operational performance, bringing a balanced mix of functional business and technology expertise. He has worked with clients across a range of industries, including energy, commercial real estate, construction, building products, wholesale distribution, retail and public sector.
Mr. Merhan brings a proven track record in leading complex transformational projects for clients. His notable engagements include leading an electronics wholesale distributor through a modernization of their finance technology, processes and organization, positioning them to scale for future growth; a cloud financials platform deployment for a global food distribution company as part of a multi-year finance transformation program, which included evaluation of cloud vendors, design and deployment of the solution; and a multi-year deployment of a workflow management solution for a global real estate services company, enabling a transformation of operations to a shared services model to improve efficiency and profit margins.
Additionally, Mr. Merhan specializes in corporate performance management solutions, helping companies evaluate and implement technologies in financial consolidations, budgeting, forecasting, analytics and reporting to improve the efficiency of accounting and FP&A processes, draw insights from financial and operational data and support management teams with strategic decision-making.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Merhan was a Consultant with BearingPoint and Arthur Andersen Business Consulting.
Mr. Merhan earned a BBA (concentration in management information systems) from The University of Texas at Austin.
