Mat Hency is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Corporate Transactions Group in Dallas. He brings nearly 20 years of experience helping corporations and private equity firms with the operational execution of merger integrations and divestiture carve-outs. 

Mr. Hency has assisted clients in multiple sectors across North America, Europe, and Asia, on both the buy- and sell-side and across every stage of the transaction lifecycle. He has extensive experience in pre-close operational due diligence and synergy planning, TSA negotiations, post-close integration/separation and achieving deal value/synergies.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Hency was a Program Manager with Microsoft.

Mr. Hency earned a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
