Maryam Naderi

She has worked with A&M’s human resources, IT and finance leadership teams across numerous industries, including energy, software, telecom, higher education, nonprofit and retail. Her roles have involved training, process design, reduction in force, software selection, organization design and cost modeling.
Notable engagements include assisting an exploration company in developing nationalization plans for its West Africa operations. This role included the development of HR policies and procedures and compliance-related documentation, with multiple visits to West Africa and meetings with peer companies and oil ministries.
Ms. Naderi facilitated a strategic cost reduction and reorganization of a $700 million contract drilling company, from back office to operations. She also facilitated the ERP software and system integrator selections.
She was involved in the software selection and implementation of Oracle Hyperion Planning for a $5 billion provider of contractor services, reviewing processes for planning, budgeting and forecasting.
Ms. Naderi also participated in vendor management lead and business application support for the IT carve-out of Seahawk Drilling, Inc. from Pride International. She reviewed contracts and negotiated terms and pricing with vendors.
Earlier, she helped to develop budget, timeline and IT organization for short and long-term application / infrastructure recommendations and assisted in the redesign of a forecasting / planning process with a major aluminum company. Her role included developing a high-level organization model, job aides and long-term BPM technology recommendation.
Additional roles include: designing functional and managerial reports using Hyperion System 9 BI+ Financial Reporting; supporting an organizational design and realignment, which included developing training and communications for the new organization design, facility closure and reduction in force exercise; analyzing and optimizing accounting processes; leading the training logistics effort for a merger integration of a Fortune 500 refining company; and supporting a finance organization redesign at a Fortune 500 software company.
Ms. Naderi received the Excellence in Client Services award by Consulting Magazines in 2015 and was named as a 35 Under 35 Rising Star.
Before joining A&M, Ms. Naderi was an intern with United Biotech, a joint venture enterprise engaged in the development, manufacturing and marketing of biopharmaceuticals, based in Shanghai. She worked with the head of international sales and trading to create a business plan for a new drug launch.
Ms. Naderi earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and Chinese from Trinity University. She is certified in Hyperion System 9 Financial Management and Hyperion Planning System 11. She is fluent in Farsi and Chinese (Mandarin) and speaks conversational Spanish.
