Markus Kramer

With more than 20 years of consulting experience, Mr. Kramer has led companies in international sourcing projects; drafted and implemented target operating models; and digitized procurement and supply chain in Europe and the Middle East.
Mr. Kramer’s notable assignments include building a global network of agricultural commodity producers and distributors for a German food processing business. Most recently, Mr. Kramer reviewed the supply chain of a Turkish organic wheat and corn producer, mitigating the company’s exposure to food fraud. He also reviewed a Spanish edible oils producer’s commodity risk management practice, resulting in a yield of 11 million euros.
Previously, Mr. Kramer led operational due diligence during the acquisition of an infant nutrition business, saving over 10 million euros in dairy and oils.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Kramer spent five years with Bagusat Group, where he most recently served as Chief Operations Officer. He built a global supply chain for organic fruits, negotiating sourcing and contract manufacturing agreements.
Mr. Kramer earned a master's degree in law from the University of Cambridge and Heidelberg University, and an MBA from the University of Nebraska Omaha. A German national, Mr. Kramer speaks fluent English and German.
