Markus Blumhardt

Mr. Blumhardt’s primary areas of concentration are G&A restructuring, working capital improvements and cash and liquidity management. He has worked with clients across a range of industries, including consumer goods, mechanical engineering and energy.
Most recently at A&M, Mr. Blumhardt has been involved in a project where he was responsible for a 28 million working capital optimization for a power tool producer, including AR/AP and inventory optimization for a large PE client.
Previously, Mr. Blumhardt was involved in the restructuring of the G&A function at a global engine manufacturer, delivering over 20% headcount reduction and was the project management office for a 40 million EBIT improvement project covering 13 work-streams for a manufacturing client owned by a PE firm.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Blumhardt spent six years with KPMG, where he most recently served as Senior Manager. He was one of the founding members of their Digital Transformation & Process Excellence team, with a strong focus on transforming the Chief Financial Officer function.
Mr. Blumhardt earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and taxation from DHBW Stuttgart and dual master’s degrees in international business from Munich Business School and Florida International University. A German national, Mr. Blumhardt is fluent in German and English.
