Mark Emerson

Mr. Emerson’s primary areas of concentration include finance operating model design and implementation, finance organization design, finance process improvement, finance shared services, and finance M&A, including post-merger integrations and carve-outs.
Mr. Emerson brings nearly 25 years of management consulting experience that spans multiple sectors, including private equity, chemicals, life sciences, industrial products, software, and professional services. He has worked with C-suite executives at Fortune 500 and mid-market companies, both public and private.
Mr. Emerson’s notable assignments include: leading several finance function stand-up engagements for recently acquired private equity portfolio companies; leading the finance function carve-out and stand-up of a global chemical manufacturer prior to its initial public offering; leading the finance integration efforts as part of the merger of two global pharmaceutical companies; and leading the finance operating model design for a global software and professional services company.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Emerson spent 17 years in EY’s Finance Transformation practice and seven years in Accenture’s Finance & Performance Management practice, where he delivered large-scale finance transformation and M&A engagements.
Mr. Emerson earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Northern Kentucky University and an MBA from the Willams College of Business at Xavier University in Ohio.
