Her team led transformation efforts (cost reduction, working capital, operating model transformation, change management and operational performance) across supermarkets, food manufacturing and agriculture, delivering savings and working capital improvement. Prior to joining A&M, Ms Simovic worked for International Airlines Group, leading a global change management programme to deliver key strategic change, transformation and substantive ongoing savings across customer contact centres, BPO, engineering, MRO, procurement, airport operations, IT, finance and all G&A functions. She also oversaw a major procurement review across IAG’s entire £13 billion spend base, resulting in a continued annual savings of hundreds of millions of pounds (4% of spend).
Previously, as COO for Yodel, Ms. Simovic led a complex post-merger integration and cost reduction programme, establishing the UK’s second largest parcel delivery company (through the merger of DHL and Home Delivery Network) and reducing the total cost base by 20% (~ £120 million) through network reorganisation, logistics transformation, large-scale systems implementation, people and cultural transformation, customer service proposition overhaul and major synergy savings. She started her C-suite career with Pepsi and YUM Restaurants International, holding operational, transformational and strategic roles across U.S., EMEA and AsiaPac.
