Lyna Sun

Ms. Sun has 20+ years of experience in leading complex buy- and sell-side, spin-off/initial public offering divestitures and joint venture transactions ranging from $100 million to $50 billion in size. She has worked across a variety of industries, including life sciences and healthcare, industrial manufacturing, energy, financial services, automotive, aviation finance, consumer and retail, gaming, and entertainment.
Ms. Sun specializes in helping clients deliver value in transactions, be it enterprise-wide operational due diligence, synergy identification/realization, transition service agreement negotiation/planning/exit, cross-functional pre- and post-close integration/separation planning and execution, organizational design, change management, or culture and communications. She has significant experience in navigating the complexities of cross-border transactions and has worked on solving operational matters across 125+ countries.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Sun was the U.S. National Leader for KPMG’s People Strategy and HR Transactions practice in New York, where she led global teams to address operational, regulatory, employment, and human capital matters in transactions.
Previously, she was a leader with EY’s Transaction Advisory Services practice in New York. In addition to her consulting experience, Ms. Sun has held a number of in-house functional and M&A leadership roles at healthcare and life sciences companies.
Ms. Sun earned her BBA in management information systems and information security from Western Connecticut State University. She is an active member of and volunteer for The Salvation Army.
