Lucky Agarwal is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement in Chicago. With more than 15 years of consulting experience, Mr. Agarwal has worked across a range of industries, including manufacturing, professional services, field services, technology, retail and consumer, chemicals, infotech, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, automotive, agriculture, and media and entertainment. He has helped deliver over 200 M&A transactions and advises clients across the M&A lifecycle with a focus on technology due diligence, integration, synergies, carve-outs, and post-close transformation.

Mr. Agarwal’s notable engagements include leading: 100+ IT diligences, 50+ standalone IT/operations synergy and transition service agreement due diligence projects for both private equity groups and strategic corporate buyers; IT carve-out planning and execution for a $1.5-billion payroll and professional services client across multiple geographies, exiting $55 million of IT transition service agreements; and performance improvement for a $4-billion staffing business with $40 million in cost savings.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Agarwal served as Senior Associate with PwC’s M&A Advisory practice.

Mr. Agarwal earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering in electronics from Mumbai University and an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
