Laura Katherine Schembri

Ms. Schembri has advised both private and public companies in a range of industries, with a particular focus on healthcare services. Her previous notable clients include Vitro America, Suncrest Healthcare, Church Street Health Management, Express Energy Services Ltd, GenesisCare, Virgin Orbit, GTT, and AgBiome.
Prior to rejoining A&M in 2022, Ms. Schembri worked in corporate restructuring at Credit Suisse, where she helped manage the bank’s distressed loan portfolio through key restructurings, including Caesars Entertainment, Lehman Brothers, MF Global, and American Energy Partners.
Ms. Schembri began her career as an investment banking associate at Wachovia Securities/Wells Fargo, after which she joined A&M for the first time as an analyst during the 2008 financial crisis.
Ms. Schembri earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas. She was also a member of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) and the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors (AIRA).
