Kristin Kohler Burrows

Ms. Burrows has a proven track record as an operator and consultant partner, overseeing P&L, merchandising, marketing, operations, organizational design, and go-to-market processes for small and mid-size organizations, to deliver growth and cost efficiencies.
Notably, Ms. Burrows led an organizational redesign for a consumer products company to achieve the cost reduction target, inclusive of adding core digital and marketing capabilities. She also led the development of a three-year strategic growth plan for a lab-diamond retailer, outlining five key initiatives projected to lead to 50% growth over three years. Ms. Burrows led a $2 billion apparel retailer in transforming its go-to-market process, reducing the calendar by 12 weeks, optimizing the assortment, and right-sizing the organization.
Prior to joining A&M, in her consumer and retail industry career, Ms. Burrows has delivered measurable results. At Keds, she drove 20% growth in margins by improving brand development and market positioning. She reduced mass channel penetration from 60% to 40%, improved gross margin by 100 basis points, and enhanced profitability. As President of G.H. Bass, Ms. Burrows developed and began to execute a three-year turnaround plan, resulting in the successful sale of the company in 2024 with the brand positioned to return to double-digit EBIT. Additionally, as a HELM Boots Board Member, she helped drive EBITDA growth by 70%, transitioning the business to men’s and eCommerce-only offerings and relocating production to Brazil to enhance margins.
Ms. Burrows earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Vermont, a master’s degree in communication from Boston University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She is on the Board of the Westchester Chapter of the Young Men’s Service League and a Board Member of Able Athletics.
