Kris Talgo

At A&M, Mr. Talgo applies his in-depth knowledge of financial services, investment services and customer relations to help clients create value and enhance revenue. He advises clients on best practices for sales strategies, the development of new services and revenue streams.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Talgo served as Vice President of Sales at Rafferty Capital Holdings. As one of seven regional sales traders in the firm’s expanding institutional equity group, Mr. Talgo was successful in developing the practice’s business and client relationships, and increasing commission revenues.
Earlier, Mr. Talgo served as Co-Head of Trading, Executive Vice President, and Principal at Rochdale Securities. Under his co-leadership with fellow founding members, the company grew revenues from less than $10 million to more than $50 million with 70 employees. Mr. Talgo co-managed trading desk functions including hiring, training, compliance and interactions with back office operations and the IT function as well as servicing existing customers and seeking new revenue streams. As part of the leadership team, he was involved in budgeting and planning activities and managed costs and allocation of the firm’s capital and resources.
Mr. Talgo is experienced in developing new services in financial research, structured products, and whole loans and credit. He has helped create joint ventures for a differentiated equity / credit product, partnered with an investment bank to expand into nontraditional revenue sources and designed a financial derivative for a large retail broker.
Mr. Talgo began his career as a sales trader at Hoenig & Co., an institutional equity stock brokerage. He holds Series 4, 7, 24, 55 and 63 licenses.
Mr. Talgo earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and management from Lehigh University.
