Kevin Baker is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Disputes and Investigations in Chicago. He specializes in forensic technology services, including data analytics, digital forensics, eDiscovery, and expert services.

Mr. Baker brings more than 18 years of experience in forensic technology, including assisting corporate clients with large data-intensive engagements resulting from complex litigation and internal investigations. He has extensive experience working with transactional data relating to litigation support in healthcare claims, damage calculations, and financial analysis. Mr. Baker has also worked on large restatements engagements and has experience in recreating historical financial statements from a wide range of financial systems.

Mr. Baker is experienced in developing complex reports, including the recreation of historical accounting ledgers; working with large transactional financial data, including cryptocurrencies and large financial exchanges; and developing and creating automated financial statement programs using advanced database technologies.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Baker spent 10 years with the Legal Consulting Group at Huron Consulting in Chicago, where he most recently served as Manager.

Mr. Baker earned a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from the University of Iowa, where he also worked as a Web Developer for the Tippie College of Business during his enrollment. He is a GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner and an active member of the Professional’s Board at CARPLS in Chicago.
