Kenneth Cochran

With more than 30 years of industry and consulting experience, Mr. Cochran has held industry roles involving supply chain operations, materials management (operations planning and scheduling, inventory management, and procurement (general procurement and commodities). He has worked with clients in various industries, including retail, luxury, apparel, accessories, textiles, leather processing, and supply chain technology solutions.
Mr. Cochran’s notable projects at A&M include the selection and start-up of a new distribution platform for a leading apparel company, interim leadership of Supply Chain for a $6 billion U.S. retailer, network strategy for $6 billion pet supplies retailer, SKU profitability and assortment reviews, and deployment of global sourcing solutions.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Cochran spent 18 years at Ralph Lauren, serving most recently as SVP, Global Operations Strategy and Business Operations. He was responsible for network development, operational integration of multiple licensee acquisitions, data analytics and supply chain process improvement. He also optimized the global supply chain, helping to deliver $100 million in savings, and handled business leadership of a global SAP deployment.
Mr. Cochran began his career with Andersen Consulting, departing as a senior manager.
Mr. Cochran earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He holds a CPIM certification. Mr. Cochran is a board member and past president of the JDRF Piedmont Triad Chapter and a past member of the Executive Leadership committee of the GS1 Apparel & General Merchandise group.
