Keith Kelson

Mr. Kelson’s notable engagements have included interim CFO, performance improvement, finance department transformation and transaction advisory services. He has worked with a variety of clients, including physician practice management, health systems, dental and home health benefits management as well as medical device manufacturers and distributors.
Most recently at A&M, Mr. Kelson served as interim CFO of an orthopedic practice management company; provided advisory services for a start-up cardiovascular platform; and led finance department transformation assessments for a multi-billon dollar national medical equipment provider and a national health system. He also led buy-side diligence for a private equity sponsor’s evaluation of targets in dental and home health benefits management.
Previously, Mr. Kelson served a $2 billion hospital system to evaluate its financial status and business plan and recommend strategic and operational alternatives. He has also provided transaction advisory services to several multi-specialty physician practices. Additionally, Mr. Kelson has served a $3 billion hospital system by implementing working capital controls that generated over $50 million of liquidity through vendor payment management and implementing standardized forecasting and policies. He also provided this client with oversight for the divestiture of a $100 million hospital system.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Kelson spent five years as CFO of a private equity-backed middle market contract research organization, serving life sciences clients and leading the global finance and accounting organization. He also served for four years as CFO of a publicly traded middle market multi-site diagnostic imaging company, successfully leading a bankruptcy reorganization to dramatically reduce the company’s leverage. Mr. Kelson also served for eight years as CFO of a national telecom provider and was an audit manager with Deloitte.
Mr. Kelson earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Texas Christian University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the Board of Directors and the Finance Chair of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Carlsbad, California.
