Kaustav Sen

Mr. Sen has experience with growth strategy, complex turnaround programs, strategic sourcing and procurement transformation including direct and indirect material cost optimization, supply chain network design and optimization, complex capital project management, business process re-engineering, and organization design and transformation. He has worked for multinational companies and large, founder-led enterprises and with clients in various industries, including consumer goods, modern format retailers, automotive, industrial manufacturing, renewables and engineering, procurement and construction.
Mr. Sen has led 15+ procurement transformation programs comprising close to $10 billion in spending and has delivered more than $1 billion in savings. He has also led digital transformation in supply chain and manufacturing excellence programs for large industrial and infrastructure conglomerates across India, the Middle East and Vietnam.
Recently, Mr. Sen worked on cost reduction, digital supply chain transformation and business process re-engineering for one of the world’s top ten infrastructure and engineering major ($22+ billion annual revenue), with projects across India, SEA, the Middle East and Africa. Over the last three years, these initiatives led to over $250 million reported benefit impact. Previously, Mr. Sen led cost reduction efforts for one of Asia Pacific’s largest commercial vehicle OEM and one of Asia Pacific’s leading farm equipment OEM, addressing a cost base of more than $3 billion with delivered savings impact of $250+ million over four years.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Sen was an Equity Partner with KPMG. Previously, he was Chief Strategy Officer for a large Indian conglomerate, Chief Executive for a renewables business, and a Senior Principal with Kearney.
Mr. Sen earned a bachelor’s degree in production engineering from Jadavpur University and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow.
